🧑‍⚕️ Prof. Dr. Halil Alıs – Expert in General & Robotic Surgery

Prof. Dr. Halil Alıs is a distinguished Turkish general surgeon with over 30 years of clinical and academic experience, specializing in laparoscopic, robotic, bariatric/metabolic, and gastrointestinal surgeries. He completed his MD at Karadeniz Technical University in 1992 and specialized in General Surgery at Istanbul University in 2001. He was appointed Associate Professor in 2010 and promoted to Full Professor in 2016.

Currently, he serves as a Professor of Surgery at Istanbul Aydın University and practices at VM Medical Park Florya Hospital, Istanbul. Prof. Alıs is known for integrating advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques, including Da Vinci robotic systems, in a wide range of complex surgical procedures.

He has authored over 44 articles in SCI/SCI‑E indexed journals, contributed to national publications, and presented at numerous international surgical congresses. He is an active member of leading Turkish and international surgical societies such as SAGES, EAES, IASGO, ISSO, and IFSO.
