Dr. (Col.) Kumud Rai is a highly respected Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in the field. A retired Colonel from the Indian Army Medical Corps, he has led critical medical services in the armed forces and is currently serving as the Principal Director – Vascular Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.

He is the former President of the Vascular Society of India and former Vice President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Rai is credited with introducing and advancing several modern vascular surgical techniques in India.
