Dr. Arun Prasad is a leading name in surgical gastroenterology, bringing over 35 years of clinical expertise, particularly in laparoscopic, bariatric, and robotic surgeries. A graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College (MBBS) and Maulana Azad Medical College (MS), he earned his FRCS from the UK in 1990. Upon his return to India in 1996, he took on senior roles at Apollo Hospitals and later led surgical units at Manipal Hospitals. A trailblazer in advanced GI procedures, including single-incision and robotic techniques, Dr. Prasad has successfully completed over 7,000 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries and more than 1,000 bariatric interventions.
